Can you do a video of ppl falling off in stupid ways? I fell off yesterday due to a bouncy canter and he spooked at my feet and bolted across the arena (with me on his neck) and I feel so stupid about it😂 need to know I’m not the only one

Many of these are due to rider error, eg insecure seat, not riding forward, not keeping the leg on the horse. Ultimately, instructor error for those riders under instruction. Horses are great teachers, tho!

My mare was a real baby when I took her to her first show. We had to walk from cone A to B, trot from B to C, and canter from C to D. Well, she was suspicious of A and was walking with her head tilted, crab trotted with little steps from B to C, and lost it for the canter going into wild bucking. I was able to push her down into a halt right in front of the judge who calmly said “81” to me. I was confused as to what he meant until one of my western riding friends told me it was my bucking score!

people really need to stop being so loud. especially in the crowds. it spooks the horses. If you are in the arena it is different.

Oh dear... watching some of these makes my back hurt... I remember being thrown off a galloping horse in an arena backwards through a damned jump wing. hit it with my back that I had already injured years before... I don't ride any more... I hope nobody in any of these videos gets injured...

I was doing a first x-country school with a young mare and she was doing spectacularly. She jumped so well over the next to the last jump I used my legs like I would on my preliminary level horse (novice level in UK) and she dumped me. People that weren’t close by thought I was screaming in pain but I was laughing at myself for what I had done. The mare went on to be a champion. Comment on at least two of the school horses - too nasty fro young kids as they kicked at the fallen riders.
